Back to Pavilion

I've returned to Canada after a looong break in Singapore, just to be greeted by a ridiculous snowstorm over the weekend. Also, after arriving, it took 8 days for me to finally see the sun. Coming from sunny Singapore, this was actually a very bitter pill to swallow.

So I decided I needed to find something in this country during this sad weather that I appreciate. I thought really long and really hard and finally I settled on: the dryer.

Yes, I missed my dryer while I was in Singapore. In Singapore, I had to hang all the clothes physically after washing them - and with the pleasure of using dryers in Canada, it felt like such a chore! Also, there was a point in my stay in Singapore when my mom wanted to use the dryer function in her 2-in-1 washer/dryer for the first time (yes, my Canadian friends, this is an actual thing in Singapore), and the function for the quickest run was 4 hours!!! FOUR HOURS. I'm totally not kidding. The towels that my mom put for drying did not even dry..........

Moral of the story: always find something to be grateful for, even in your lowest of lows, something will turn up!
